About Me

Hi, my name is Neil Mitchell and I am the author of the Video-4u website. As a keen videographer who has worked professionaly in commercial photography since 1976 I thought it would be a good idea to offer my customers access to reasonable cost video production to enhance their communication projects.

Having worked with (faught with) computers of all types since the Commodore 64 in 1981 and early DOS based PC’s I was highly familliar with their strengths and foybuls so moving from stills and graphics into non-linear video should be pretty easy. Little did I know just how hard it would be to get the results for which I was looking.

Anyway, we are here now and most things have eventually fallen into place. This blog is intended to provide a little of my accrued knowledge to help others on the learning curve that is video production.
