Hello to all Video-4u visitors

It’s here, welcome to the Video-4u Blog. Well, It’s been a busy summer and now at it’s end we have the major event taking place in Birmingham that is ArtsFest. As usual I will be there in my capacity as keen Brummie events archivist. Having been to this event for the past four years I can vouch for the fact that it is a wall-to-wall feast for the eyes and the ears and I guess the sense of touch even gets a look in, but I’ve always got a camera in my hands! I’m sure there will be some footage posted on both this site and my ourbrum.co.uk site before the month is out. If you get a good shot or video clip that you would like to be included in this feature please feel free to drop me a line and I will try to get in included. If you are reading this before the event then look out for the opening spectacular on Friday evening when the Dhol Blasters attempt to organinse a record beeting, ‘well Blast’ I guess. With 500 drummers/performers it should be a memorable and ear piercing event set against the backdrop of the ‘Light Night’ urbal illumination show. Check out artsfest.org.uk for details.
